In conditions "fit for dueks," Rangers Soccer Club team, Rotorua, beat Wairakei 5 — 0 at Wairakei, on Sunday. Wairakei surprised their supporters by holding Rangers to a nil-all draw at halftime. In the first half Wairakei looked to be the better team. After the interval, Rangers turned the tables on the home side with more positive play and scored at will. It appeared that Wairakei lost heart. It was unfortunate for Wairakei that right winger, B. Christie, was injured earlv in the second half. Both 'keepers controlled the wet ball with skill.
