Choir To Be Formed

Taupo women who are interested in choral work will have the opportunity of forming a choir group at the home of Mrs M. Potter tonight. Mrs Potter thinks there are sufficient women in the town who have the singing ability to begin the choir, but she said women without experience would be most welcome. After a training period, the choir would be available to give items at socials. Practice tonight will start j with two and three-part ; harmony work. It will be under the direction of Mrs Potter, who has had exten- ; sive musical experience as a member of the National Orchestra. She has taken leads in operatic presentations and she has sung solos and duets on the air.
