COUNCIL WANTS SALEYARD
NEAR TAUPO
The site in the Poihipi Road area suggested by the Commissioner of Crown Lands to be reserved as a future saleyard is thought by Taupo County Council to be unsatisfactory. It was in a hot area and too close to Taupo. Another site was considered to be more satis-
factory, and it was resolved to invite the commissioner to discuss the matter further. Taupo borough is supporting the council in its move' for saleyards. *
