LIBRARY REPORT
During April, 36 adult, 32 junior and 16 county borrowers were enrolled at the Taupo Public Library. Membership now stands, at 2122 adult, 1789 junior and 785 county borrowers. Twenty junior and 115 adult books were added to stock in April and there are now 12,052 books on the shelves. More than 9800 books were issued, during the month and desk receipts amounted to £177/8/9. This was a comparable figure for the same month last year when receipts came to £177/14/6. The library has a loan' ; from the Country Library Service which includes books on soccer, golf, photography, War history, science and house and garden.
