Revenue Lost At Easter
More than £50 in revenue was lost at the Taupo Municipal Camp over Easter through inability of the camp to supply power to some caravans, said the camp caretaker, Mr R. J. Daly, to Monday's meeting of Taupo Borough Council. "Quite a few of our regular patrons suggested that if any new power points were installed, the best position would be down by the riverside," he said. He added that the cabin accommodation was fully booked over the period. Receipts for tieke t saies for the month amounted to £344/17/6.
