MIXED PILLS

Have you ever thought just how exciting a box of mixed pills could b e? With unpredicted action there could be some unexpected results- Almost as much as my mixed thoughts in this section. Perhaps I am being kind to myself and should really call them muddled thoughts. It must be nice to be silly without effort. This time 1 am forced to become serious in my funny way and devote this space to some seasonal advice which will be a joy and a pleasure to every household without any manner of doubt. Now that winter is here one must take all the necessary steps for the correct care and attention of the garden for this is an important period of the gardening year. Of primary importance is to see that the duck shooting licence is bought in plenty of time and that the gun and ammunition is all in proper order. The waders should be brought out early and thoroughly inspected and the decoys should be carefully prepared for the winter's gardening. Of course there are the odd Saturdays when one won't be shooting thus giving time for a little Rugby which always tends to improve the garden. If you are a winter sportsman it shouldn't take much to improve your garden as almost anything done at all should be quickly noticed. Perfection is the ultimate answer. *
