TAUPO BOY WINS CUP
Months of training bore fruit for the youthful Taupo runner, David Baumberg, last Saturday, when he gave an excellent performance to win the Veterans' Cup, one of the major events on the Rotorua Harrier Club's callender. Twenty senior and junior athletes competed in the five mile race, some of them represented the Waikato Centre on the track. last summer. Another Taupo contestant was T. McAneney a previous cup winner.
