Youth Sought By Police On 2 Charges
Taupo police are looking for a Maori. youth who a few days ago knocked a woman off her cycle and attempted to assault her, and on the same day entered a house and behaved iiidecently in front of anolher woman, Tlie incideiits oceurred in mid-mom-dng in the Rifle Range Road-Tabarepa Road area. A youlli wearing a grey shirt and grey t rousers, and mounted on a eycle, allegedly knocked the first woman from her cycle and liegan to niolest her. 5 he woman tohi the police that when he drjagged her from her cycle he placed his hand over her month, but slie ma naged to break free and escape. The inCident happened in a deserted area. She promptly saw tlie pollce and gave a general descriptlon of the youth, toi' whoni the police are on ihe lookout. A similar description was. given by the other woman, who suffered an unpleasant experience when he entered tlie house unannounced.
