Last week the Chamber of Gommerc-e discussed the proposal to raise a loan for a second hydro-eleetric generating station on the Hinenui iaia stream. Twent y-two voted for it and two refrained from vot.ing, oue of tlieni, Mr J. M. Stanley, chairman of the council's electricity committee.
