INDOOR BOWLERS TO PLAY FIRST MATCH FOR HARDING SHIELD
Next Sunday 'taupo will play Upper Atiamuri at Taupo in the first challenge match for the Harding Shield for indoor bowling clubs. There will be three visiting teams, and some keen games are expected by local players. The following will represent tlie Taupo club : Mrs Walpole, Mrs Delaney, E. Graf and A. Tierney (skip) ; Mrs Humphries, Mrs Ilarding, G. Rameka and R. Mclsaac (skip) ; Mrs Christenseii, Mrs Wright, F. Stehbing and W. Tito (skip). There will be three games of seven heads, with total iioints seored to count. Members have been asked to contribute toward the afternoon tea. Last Monday's club prizes went to W. Tito and Mrs Prosser, both of whom seored 31 points.
