TAUPO COUNTY NOTES
Power Boards in County Tihe Taupo County Office has been advised by the General Manager of the State Hydro-Electric Department that an area of the County has, by Proclamation, been included in the Waitomo Electric Power Board's area. The area concerned comprises the Pouakanii riding in the norfh-west corner of the County. The Taupo Borough Council electricity authority has already had an area of the County added to its district. There still rernain to be gazetted two further county areas which will be taken over by the King Country Electric Power Board and the Tourist Department, Rotorua. - *
