Plants From Cuttings
During January many plants in the flower garden can be successfully propagated by cuttings, advises the Department of Agriculture. Hard ened growth should be chosen, never soft, succulent shoots; the most suiitable are generally the small side shoots on the main branches. Not only plants which are herhaceous in habit can be grown from cuttings, but also many shrubs.
