Lakefront Highway
During the recent visit to Taupo of Mr Goosman and the members of the National Roads Board, Mr Goosman state d that the delay in starting work on the re-formation and resealing of the Lakefront Highway was due to lack of engineering staff, and that if the Borough Council could get an engineering survey done locally it would assist the Ministry of Works. Messrs Cheal & Nelson, surveyors, have now advised the Council that they will be pleased to carry out the survey at an early date.
