PAERATA SHIELD TENNIS
The Taupo Tennis Club visited Mo kai on Sunday, December 11, and were successful in their challenge for the Paerata Shield, defeating the holders by 12 matches to four. Mokai had withstood allcorners for some years so that the Taupo players were well satisfied with their convincing victory. Details of the play are as follows, Taupo names being given first: Men's singles : S. Mathers v. F. Te Hiko, 6/0; T. Waldron v. S. Andrews, 2/6; R. Stewart v. W. Roha, 7/5; A. Cavaye v. P.
