Seventeen members of Ihe Taupo Conntrywoinciis Gardening Circle were fortunate in having the opportuu ity, 011 the occasion of their Deceiiiber meeting, of visiting Mr N. A Duthie's lovely gartlen, where some wonderful delphiniums were in ilower. Two other choice plants seen were a double-fiowered white elematis, and the hlue poppy of Tibet. Members afterwards adjourned to Mrs J. D. McLeod's home for afternoon tea, wlien arr-angeinents for the annual picnie in January were discussed.
