PUBLIC OPINION
"Daylight Robbery" — Or Not?
Sir, — I recently read in your paper where "Ored'it Where Due" complained of higli prices.in Taupo. Rates, electricity, etc., are probably the dearest in New Zealand. "Credit Where Due" did not mention anything of builders and carriers with the get-rich-quick scheme. A fi'iend of mine had a hach shifted] i from the Spa Road to the Four Mile Bav area and was charged £6. Into the bargain a broken window which has not been compensated. How's this for daylight robbery, about two liours' work? Can this be beaten anvwhere else in New Zealand. — I am, etc.,
E.J,
.C.
