SUCCESSFUL CABARET DANCE

The second cabaret dance organised by the Taupo Free Kindergarten Association was held in the War Memorial Hall on Saturday evening last in aid of the Association's funds, and drew a large attendance. The varied items given during the evening were well received, and the obvious success achieved indicated th'at in introducing this type of entertainment the Association has pleased the pu-blic taste. Mr Norman Lowe was the manager, while those providing items included Mr Bill Lemberg, Mrs Stuart Miller, Mr Barry Lloyd (Rotorua), and Mr and Mrs Dick Thompson (Rotorua). Two skits were presented, one by Miss Dulcie Cohen, Mi'S Sally Kent and Mrs N. Coster. the other, which was produced by Mrs F. Bostock, by Messrs Bill Davies, D'Arcy Reid and Mr and Mrs J. W. Birnie.
