Publicity for Taupo
A publie meeting is to be held in the Wai' Memorial II all at 8 p.m. on Tuesdav next, October 11, to discuss the setting up of a Publie Reiations Office to publicise Taupo's attraetions and potentialities. The meeting lias been convened by Mr V. Simpson. The Mayor, Mr J. E. Story, will take the chair, and. among speakers will be Messrs J. W. Birnie, W. N. Morris, C. R. Watson, C. ,S. Currle and .1, M. Stanley. Mr Simpson states tliat considerable interest has already been shown by business people and otliers and a good attendance is expected.
