Mrs. W. B. Orr
The death of Mrs Ile Katrina'Orr, wife of Mr Wilfred Beaumont Orr, of Taupo, oceurred at the Waikato Hospital, Hamilton, on Thursday, September 15. Mr and Mrs Orr camev to Taupo from Tauranga some 25 years ago, and had resided here continuously since, making a wide circle of friends. Mrs Orr is survived by her husband and a family of five, Mrs Molly Broadhurst (Gisborne), Mrs Acushla Ryan (Taupo), Miss Paddy Orr (Taupo), Mr Wilfred Orr (Te Aroha) and Mr Michael Orr (Taupo). The funeral took place at Taupo cn Saturday, September 17, from St. Andrew's Anglican Church, when there was a large gathering of friends at the Church and at the graveside, the service being taken by the Rev. H. Tangohau, who referred feelingly to the esteem in which deceased had been held.
