POLISH CHAPLAIN IN TAUPO

A visitor to Taupo from September 8 to 10 was the Rev. Father Luke, formerly stationed for some fifteen years in China, and now engaged by His Lordship, Bishop Liston, as chaplain to Polish communities in New Zealand. Father Luke, whose main work is to visit Polish people throughout New Zealand, has been impressed with the way in which, in Taupo, and elsewhere, they have adapted themselves to their new country and have progressed by hard work and initiative.
