INDOOR BOWLING

The Taupo Indoor Bowling Club's Monday night competition ( September 12) was won by Miss M. Smith with a score of 28, in the ladies' section, with Miss Mclsaac next, 21. In the men's section W. Tito and W. Prosser both scored 28, with W. Tito, junr., next, 24. W. Tito won the playo ff and took the prize. In the play-off in the ladies' section of the August aggregate Mrs W. G. Morris narrowly defeated Miss Mclsaac after a very even game. In the pairs championship, Tito and Tito won from Smith and Mrs Rewa ; Rewa and Miss Mclsaac from Kemble and Mrs Mclsaac after the latter had defeated Mr and Mrs Tierney. These matches bring the competition up to the semi-finals. Rewa and Miss Mclsaac, still with two lives, having to meet Tito and Tito, and Mr and Mrs Morris next Monday night.
