INDOOR BOWLS
Winner of the men's competition at the Taupo Indoor Bowling Club's evening on Monday last was W. Rewa, who played off with V. Simpson after both had scored 22 points. The women's competition was won by Mrs Pearse with 20. Best July aggregate scores were: Men, W. Kemble 84, W. Tito 79, W. Rewa 76, A. Tierney 72. Women, Mrs Banks 85, Miss Mclsaac 73, Mrs Simpson 70, Miss M. Smith 67. The following pairs matches were also played off, the winners being mentioned first. — Mclsaac and Mrs Hill v. Thomas and Miss Smith; Tito and Tito v. Kemble and Mrs Walford; Mrs Righton and Mrs Pearse v. Prosser and Mrs Prosser; Rewa and Miss Mclsaac v. Roband and Mrs Roband; Banks and Mrs Banks v. Simpson and Mrs Simpson; Smith and Mrs Rewa v. Mrs Bostock and Graf; Kemble and Mrs Walford v. Mrs Righton and Mrs Pearse; Tierney and Mrs Tierney v. Banks and Mrs Banks. Further pairs matches will be played on Monday evening next. •
