NEW PANTOMIME COMING TO TAUPO SHORTLY
w A three-act pantomime, " The Enchanted Waltz M, by Frederick Davis, is to be presented in the War Memorial Hall by ' the Taupo High School on Tuesday and Wednesday, August 16 and 17. Only three years old, this pantomime has not previously been presented in New Zealand. It includes cboral songs, duets, solos, ballets, bright humour, special scenery and a good story — in short a whole feast of entertainment. There is a large cast, a few of the parts being taken by recent ex-pupils and one or two outside adults. Rehearsals are going well for what promises to be a first class production. Mr G. Foote, headmaster, and all concerned are to be congratulated on the initiative and courage in preI genting so promising and ambitious ' a programme.
