TAUPO GIRL'S VISIT TO AUSTRALIA

Advice received by her parents, Mr and Mrs Poi Warbrick, states that Miss Kay Warbrick recently flew from Sydney, where she had been visiting her aunt, Mrs Snow, to Brisbane.There she has been visiting the Warbrick family, of Woody Point Miss Warbrick was due to fly from Sydney to Hobart, Tasmania, today. She writes enthusiastically of the great kindness extended to her by Australians, who seemed to delight in showing hospitality to New Zealand visitors. Miss Warbrick will return to New Zealand by plane in three weeks time, and will spend a few days in Taupo before resuming her work at the Forest Research Institute, Whakarewarewa.
