£100 Offers Accepted
The Mayor, Mr J. E. Story, reported at the recent Council meeting, apropos offers made by Mrs S. A. Kent and Messrs W. H. Kent Ltd., to j give sums of £50 each toward regrading of Motutahae Street, that the Works Committee had inspected the locality. The Committee recommended that the offers be accepted, and that Motutahae Street be re-graded and Waikato Street be opened up, The recommendation was approved by the Council.
