AS from MONDAY, JUNE 6th, 1955, the present timetable is CANCELLED and the services to and from Taupo are running as under : — Dep. Taupo — 8.15 a.m., Monday to Friday. Dep. Rotorua — 3.45 p.m., Monday to Friday. TAUPO BOROUGH COUNCIL CLOSING OF PORTION OF STREETS PURSUANT to the provisions of Section 170 of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1954, public notice is hereby given that the following portions of the undermentioned streets will be closed to vehicular traffic on Saturday, June 18th, 1955, between the hours of 2.30 p.m. and 4.30 p.m.:Titiraupenga Street between Horomatangi Street and Heuheu Street, Heuheu Street between Titiraupenga Street and Kaimanawa Street, and Horomatangi Street between Titiraupenga Street and Kaimanawa Street. Notification is hereby given that the National Roads Board, * bemg the controlling authority in respect of the Waikato River Bridge, situated on the Rotorua - Taupo Statfe Highways No. 21 at Mihi in the County of Rotorua, has removed the weight limits and speed iimits for heavy motor-vehicles using the said bridge as from Wednesday, 7th June, 1955. The weight and speed restrictions are no longer necessary by reason of repairs to the bridge having been effected. All motorists are reminded, however, that the By-law published in N.Z. Gazette No. 25 31st March 1955 for the above bridge- is retained, that is to say: — No person shall drive or take or pe^mit to be driven or taken any vehicle upon or over the Mihi Bridge at a speed exceeding ten (10)f " miles . an hour. Every person who commits an offence against this By-law is liable" on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding £20. C. J. W. PARSONS, District Commissioner of Works.
