RECORD POPPY DAY

The secretary of the Taupo R.S.A. , Mr W. G. Morris, advises that the amount of the Poppy Day Appeal was a Taupo record, the sum donated being £85 15s 9d, which was some £8 12s Od more than last year's total. Ten per cent of the amount collected is to be forwarded to the Rotorua R.S.A., to provide comforts for ex-service personnel in the Rotorua Hospital.
