TAUPO COUNTY 1)0 G REGISTR ATION, 1955 Notice is hereby given that, pursuant to Section 8 of the Dog Registration Act, 1908, the fee for registration of dogs in the Taupo County for 1955 is fixed at 10/- a dog, plus 1/- for liydatid medicine; provided that the fee for genuine working dogs- shall be roduced to 3/- a dog, plus 1/- for liydatid medicine. Attention is drawn to Section 9 of the Act whereby any person registering any dog at Ihe reduced fee must sign a declnration that the dog is kept solely for herding or didving sheep oi' cutlle. Falso decla rn tions incur a liability of a fine of lip to £20 or jinprisoninent of up to oue niontli. Owners are warned that, unless the fee for liydatid medicine is paid in eonjunction with the registration fee, a dog will not be deemed to be registered.
