TAUPO BOROUGH COUNCIL SPECIAL ORDER | Road Sealing and Plant Purchase Loan, 1955 — £10,000. NOTICE is hereby given that at a special meeting of the Tatipo Borough Council held on Wednesday, 20th day of April, 1955, the following resolution was passed, viz : — That the Taupo Borough Council, pursuant to the provisions of the Local Bodies Loans Act, 1926, and | Amendments and in pursuance of the | sanction of the Local Government I Loans Board granted on the 30th day | of March, 1955, and in pursuance of | all other Acts, Powers and Authori- | ties enabling it in that behalf. doth |. hereby resolve by way of Special I Order as follows : — 1 That a loan of Ten Thousand Pounds be raised in New Zealand by the Taupo Borough Council for the purpose of sealing roads in the Borough and purchase of Plant. 2 That the rate of Interest on the said loan or any part thereof shall be at the rate of Four Pounds (£4) per centum per an- ! num. I 3 That the term of the said loan or any part thereof shall be fifteen (15) years. 4 That the security for Interest and Principal and repayment of the said loan shall be a special rate of one half penny (ld) in the £ on the rateable value (on the basis of the Unimproved Value) of all rateable property within the Borough of Taupo. And public notice is hereby given l that a poll of ratepayers is required | to be taken on the proposal to raise I the loan herein before referred to in accordance with Section 3 of the §.
