Cricfoting Feat " The unusual feat of one bowler taking all ten wickets in a single innings' was accomplished by C. Pratt, a player in the Te Awamutu Cricket Association senior knockout competition, on a recent Saturday. Pratt, who is a regular member of the Korakonui Club, was playing against the R. S. A. He clean bowled six of the batsmen 'and the other four were caught off his deliveries. He bowled 10.3 overs, two maidens and his ten wickets cost 25 runs. * , # Drunken Driving Oheck In connection with the Transport Department's Friday and Saturday evenings campaign against intoxicated drivers, Transport Officer S. Miller, of Taupo, states that check points will be established in Taupo at varying places. On the first week end o£ the campaign a check point was set up at the junction tof Tongariro and Paora Hape Streets. Mr P. C. Watson, Chief Traffic Superintendent of the Department, said that the first check had shown just how necessary the steps taken were. "We are not after the . temperate drinker," he added. "The man who has genuinely had only a couple of beers need not be concerned, but drunken driving has to stop. Temperate drivers should regard the check as worthwhile in the added safety given them from the 'drunks'."
