Spa Hotel Burglary
Charged with breaking and entering the Spa Hotel, Taupo, on the night of March 8/9, and stealing a quantity of liquor and a sum of money, Edward de Alton Fia*wasser, aged 28, appeared before Mr W. H. Freeman, S. M., in the Rotorua Magistrates Court on March 16. He was sentenced to six months imprisonment. Defendant had e'arlier been arrSsted. by Constable W. D. Mills', of Taupo, when it was found that he was spending a good of silver in different shops. Accused had a list of previous convictions.
