DEPOTS FOR M.O.W. AND TAUPO COUNTY

In a letter to the Borough Council received at it^ last meeting the Commissioner of Crown Lands, Hamilton, wrote asking whether| the Council had any objection toi the reserve bounded by the Spa Road, Rotokawa ("Golf Links") Road and the access road to the A. C. Baths, being taken to provide Depots for the Ministry of Works and the Taupo Ccunty.

The Mayor, Mr J. E. Story, mentioned that it had been suggested by the Council that the Ministry of Works should accept portion of this 'area for its depot, provided that it vacated the present portion j of the Sports Ground recreation reserve at present occupied by it.

It was decided that the Commissioner be advised that the Council had no objection to the proposal, provided that the present through access road, to the A.C. Baths froml Waiariki (Spa) Road to Rotokawa (Golf Links) Road t)e retained, and 9 ' provided that the Ministry of Works vacate the present Depot as arranged. '
