MEN' BOWLING NOTES

Play on the Taupo Bowling Club's green on Sunday continued the competition for the Stephenson Cockerells. Games resulted as follows: — Peart, Mclsaac, Baumberg and Baldwin 25 v. Wells, Jones, Mahanga and Fulljames 19; Reid, Prosser, Howie and McMillan 23 v. Attwood, Tunnicliffe, McGreevy and Pennycook 21; Kunac, Columb, Clark and A. McLean 22 v. Bostock, Picken (Matawai), Banks and F. Logan 12. Two Taupo Club teams travelled to Rotorua for the Arawa Club's one- day tournament, skipped by Darlington and E. T. Smith respectively. Each team had two wins, one draw and two losses.
