MODELS OF FAMOUS BUILDINGS

LOCAL RESIDENT'S HOBBY At the recent Spring Show of the Taupo Beautifying Society considerable interest was attracted by a collection of models of famous English buildings. Beautifully made, the models were small replicas built to scale, and were the work of Mr Norman Lowe, Onslow House, Taupo. Brief historical notes added to the interest of the exhibition, which comprised the Houses of Parliament, Windsor Castle, Dr. Samuel Johnspn's house at 17 Gough Square, Shakespeare's Globe Theatre, the Guildhall and Moregate.
