MEETING OF TAUPO GYMKHANA CLUB
DECISION TO CARRY ON i An extraordinary general meeting of the Taupo Gymkhana Club was held in Rickit's Hall on Thursday evening, September 30, when there were present: — Mr J. E. Story, in the Chair, and Messrs J. O'Toole (acting secretary), P. Silva, John Rameka, Kio, S. Woodward, A. Grace, T. M. Kent, J. D. Swan, K. E. Young, V. Geoghan and A. A. Noble. The meeting was called to deal with a special resolution to the effect that the Club be disbanded and that the balance of the funds be distributed according to the decision of the meeting. Following discussion it was decided the Club should carry on, and that a further meeting of members be called for Thursday, October 28, for the election of offlcers for the ensuing year, to which all interested should be invited.
