LIGHTING OF FIRES PROHIBITED

BOROUGH OF TAUPO PURSUANT to Section 18 of the Forest and Rural Fires Act, 1947, the lighting of fires in the open in the area comprising the Borough of Taupo is hereby prohibited until further notice except pursuant to the written permit of a Rural Fire Officer. Such perrnits will not be obtainable after the 31st day of October, 1954. This order is issued with the consent and approval of the Taupo Borough Council.
