Cr W. G. Morris has been granted leave of absence from the next meeting of the Borough Council. Mr and Mrs Morris plan to leave Auckland by air next Sunday for a fortnight's holiday in Norfolk Island. * ❖ * Mr R. Bredenbeck, who has been on the staff of the Bank of New Zealand, Taupo, for some time, has been transferred to the Ohakune branch of the Bank. His Taupo friends will wisl\ him well in his new sphere.
