MAJESTIC THEATRE
In the film "Lone Star," showing at the Majestic tomorrow, Saturday M.G.M. have extracted from a hitherto untapped vein of American history a story of love and conflict a story of the state of Texas more than a hundred years ago. They have engaged a * top star cast for this picture. On Monday, Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis launch a thousand laughs in "Sailors Beware." They cast their lot with the American Navy just as they did with the Army in "At War With The Army." It's another rioL Tuesday's picture is a tensely dramatic story with thriils galore. Reports of a strange object speeding towards the earth at 4000 m.p.h. are received from the four corners of the earth. As is lands you will see what man thinks of it in "The Day The Earth Stood Still." Warner Bros. went on location to Hawaii to film Wednesday's picture "Big Jim McLain." With John Wayne in the title role this film is full of excitement and has its share of the spectacular from six of the most agile hipped huia girls ever to sway a leaf skirt. "The Raiders," showing on Friday, February 20th, is a' Technicolor production depicting a story of frontier revenge. It tells of one man's fight against the lawless forces that ruled California before that state was admitted to the Union. Percy Kilbride was celebrating his fiftieth year as an actor when he co-starred with Marjorie Main in "Pa and Ma Kettle go to Paris," which is showing tomorrow week. Six years ago the same pair made a great hit in "The Egg and I."
