Mr Donald Swan, son of Col. and Mrs J. D. Swan, Taupo, who is on the staff of the Ford Motor Company, has been advised that he is being transferred from Wellington to Canada. Mr and Mrs Swan expect to leave New Zealand early in February. •A. *t> jJ* Dr. and Mrs J Scaife Armstrong paid a visit to Taupo last week-end from Thames, where Dr. Armstrong is at present on the medical staff of the Thames HospitaL Messrs A. j Coley and Son are building a residence for Dr. Armstrong on the corner of Titiraupenga and Northcroft Streets.
