MAJESTIC THEATRE

One of the most robust tales of gallantry, adventure and merriment has been brought to the screen in Walt Disney's "Story of Robin Hood," showing tomorrow night at the Majestic. It is a live action picture in Technicolor with Richard Todd and Joan Rice in the leading roles. Monday's picture is "Peking Express" a tense and highly dramatic adventure story. It stars handsome Joseph Cotten and delightfully dazzling Corinne Calvert together with one of the greatest actors in supporting roles, Edmund Gwenn. On Tuesday will be seen "V.iva Zopata" an action picture of the Mexican revolution which dramatises the crusade of Emiliano Zopata, iwho paid with his life in championing the cause of Mexican peons. "Against All Flags" featured for Wednesday, February 3, is an outstanding Technicolor production i which drew record audiences in Australia. It is described as the mightiest adventure in all the wild history of piracy. There is another I adventure story on the bill for Fri- j day February 5, when Kirk Douglas and Virginia Mayo star in Warner Bros epic 'Along The Great Divide.'

Fred Astaire's name means delightful dancing, and with Vera Ellen playing opposite him in "The Belle of New York," to be screened on Saturday, February 6, he gives some of his best performances in half-a-dozen delightful numbers.

It is a gay Technicolor musical that should not be missed .
