MOTORIST CHARGED

CASE ADJOURNED TO JANUARY COURT In the Magistrate's Court, Taupo, on Tuesday 15th, Mr H. E. Forde applied for an adjournment to January 22nd of the hearing of a charge against Walter Harold Granville McCauley, who pleaded not guilty. The hearing had previously been adjourned from Tuesday 8th. Mr W. A. Harlow, S. M., will be on the Bench for the usual court sitting on the date metiohed. Defendant is charged that on December 5th at Wairakei while under the influence of drink to such an extent as to be incapable of having proper control of the vehicle he did drive a motor car. The police had no objection to the application, and Mr A. H. Keid, J.P., adjourned the case accordingly.
