"Worm's Eye View," at the Majestic on Boxing Day, a comedy of the R.A.F. in war time, had a record six years run on the London stage. The film is said to be even funnier than the play. Joan Greenwood stars with Cecil Parker in "The Man in the White Suit," showing on Monday 28th, a comedy concerning a mysterious object in a textile mill. Tuesday's picture is "Lydia Bailey," a Technicolor drama of liberated slaves facing invasion of their republic by Napoleon. Somerset Maugham's story "Trio," showing on Wednesday 30th, is star studded with eight big names of London stage and screen, ensuring first class entertainment. Lewis Carroll's famous "Alice in Wonderland," brought to life by Walt Disney, is on at both matinee and evening sessions on Thursday 31st. This Technicolor musical brings out the tale's whimsical humour to great advantage. "One Wild Oat," on New Year's Day, stars Robertson Hare and Stanley Holloway in an hilarious story providing the laugh of a lifetime. Rex Beach's "The World and His Arms," a great story of seal poaching in Alaskan seas, is to be shown on Saturday evening, January 2nd. Owing to the Royal visit there will be no matinee. "Warpath^" a Technicolor picture of blazing action and Indians to be screened on Monday January 2nd, has a strong cast headed by Edmond O'Brien. "Pretty Baby," on Tuesday January 5, is a breezy comedy to tickle the funny bone and touch the heart. "Aladdin and His Lamp," on Wednesday 6th stars Patricia Medina, Richard Erdman, John Sands and John Dehner. The eternal triangle provides the theme of "The Las Vegas Story" on Thursday 7th, with top screen personalities Victor Mature and Jane Russell.
