There has recently been a certain amount of sneak thieving from boats at the Landing Reserve adjacent to the Wharf. Ropes have been removed from row-boats, one of which was found recently just ' about to drift away, while it was ] reported that another boat had had its mooring line cut Boat I owners who find that equipment has been stolen from their boats, or that they have been interfered with, should report the circumI stances at once to Mr Bruce Williamson, Harbour Master, at the Internal Aff airs building on the reserve. Prompt reporting will assist I the Harbour Master to check the I type of trouble mentioned, which j has from time to time caused conj siderable annoyance to boat owners at Taupo.
