ROTORUA REHAB. OFFICE NOW CLOSED

The Rehabilitation Department's Office In Rotorua was to be closed as from November 16th, according to a recent statement by the Minister of Rehabilitation, Mr MacDonald. Rehabilitation loan work was transferred as from November 2nd to the State Advances Corporation and the Department of Maori Affairs and this makes possible the closing of a number of offices. The area served hitherto by the Rotorua Office will be administered by the District Rehabilitation Office at Hamilton. To avoid any delay ex-servicemen in the Rotorua Office's district should now address all enquiries on rehabiliation matters, apart from loans, direct to the District Rehabilitation Officer, Hamilton. Applications and enquiries re loans should be directed to the appropriate Branch office of the State Advances Corporation.
