The other presentation was one to be made to* Mr Peter Brown, a well known member of he Club. For a long time it had been a labour of love with Mr Brown to visit the Club House on Monday mornings and tidy it up, a job of work that was real work and a service to the Club which Mr Brown's fellow mem bers appreciated very much. Mr Brown was also always the driver of their bus when the Club visited other golf courses and in his care they had no worries . The President then called on Mr Brown to accept a leather week-end bag as a token of the Club's appreciation of his services, the ovation accorded the recipient leaving no doubt of the feelings of his fellow members.
