LETTER FROM MR GOOSMAN Mr P. Kearins, M.P., advises that he has received a letter from the Hon. W. S. Goosman, Minister of Works, dated November -6th, in reply to representations made by Mr Kearins on behalf of Mr G. S. Currie, Secretary of the Taupo Businessmen's Association, abouf the condition of the State Highway between Taupo and Rangitaiki. Mr Goosman states that he has been advised by the Main Highways Board that finance has been provided this year for surface improvements on the section referred to, and that arrangements were recently made for transferring the necessary plant to the area. The Minister adds that the Association i can be assured that work will be put in hand shortly.
