COMING C.A.S. COMEDY

THE LADY FROM ANDALUSIA The next C.A.S. Theatre production in Taupo will be "The Lady From Andalusia," to be presented at Rickit's Hall at 8 p.m. on Saturday, Novmber 7th. The comedy is the work of the brothers Alvarez Quintero, two of Spain's most popular dramatists, and, like most of their plays, deals with their native Andalusia and the people of the South of Spain. It gives a warm and delightful picture of the lady who could never forget her native town, but who, like all kindly and likeable people could always be taken in by those wishing to take advantage of her generousity. It is a truly delightful comedy, in which the laughter is never cruel, nor the characters wholly bad, and where, as in life, everyone has good points, even the Villian. All, both young and old, will leave the hall with the feeling of being entertained, and with a touch of the romance of the warm south. All who have enjoyed previous C.A.S., productions in Taupo will want to make a note of the date of this bright attracion. The Taupo C.A.S. Committee will be grateful if those willing to billet members of the cast will kihdiy ring or write Mrs N. Duthie, phon© 174 or Box 194, Taupo, as sqoxi l possible.
