MRS F. W. LOWERY

The death occurred at Rotorua on August- 27th, 1953, of Beatrice Anne ("Paddy"), wife of Mr F. W. Lowery, of Awanui Avenue, Taupo, Mrs Lowery was well-known in Taupo for her sociable disposition, and her death will be regretted by a large circle of friends. Mr and Mrs Lowery settled in Taupo about eight years ago, having previously resided at York Bay, Wellington, for some years. Miss B. M. Lowery, their only daughter, is on the staff of the Native Affairs Department in Rotorua. Her parents took up their residence in Rotorua also, on account of Mrs Lowery's state of health, and their Taupo home has now been sold. Mr Lowery was a foundation member of the Taupo branch of the Community Arts Service, of which he was chairman up to the time of leaving Taupo.
