TAUPO POWER SHUT-DOWN
THURSBAY, AUGUST 20 Weather and other circumstanees permitting power will be cut off in the whole of the Taupo Town Board's area between the hours of 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. tomorrow, Thursday, August 20. The shut-down is necessary to allow constructional work to be carried out at the Power Station in connection wifh the installation of the main generator, work on which is now prooeeding. Should there be any alteration in this arrangement it wiil be announced from Radio 1YZ, Rotorua.
