GOLFING NOTES
The men played the fourth round of the Taupo Golf Club's President's Irophy competition on Sunday, 9th, when the best scores were: A Hills ®1-:24-67; L. Stephenson, 79—10-69; ?q ^od^ld- 90—21-69; C. Vedder, 88 — 18-70; E. Ryan, 85 — 15-70. Owing to the wet weather there was no play for the ladies on Thursday last, 13th. Tomorrow, Thurs- 1 day, 20th, the ladies will play a medal round. ^ On Sunday, 23rd, there will be a mixed four ball bogey (draw).
